Roberts, David B.
David B. Roberts of Courtenay, BC, passed away suddenly on the evening of February 20th, 2002. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara; children: Debra (Bernard), Chris (Tresa), Terry (Kelly), Laura (Steve), Julie, Susan (Bruce); and 17 grandchildren.
He is also survived by mother Marjorie Roberts and brothers: Darrel, Richard, and Eric, and sister Melissa.
Dave was born on September 5th, 1935 the eldest of 5 children. In 1958 Dave relocated to California to pursue his dream of music. Upon returning to BC in 1985 he was Director of the Comox District Concert Band, Musical Director of “Desperation Jazz” and taught the Band Program at Robron Secondary.
