Liddle, David (Dave) Eric
1952 ~ 2006
Dave of Comox was born April 17th,1952 in St. Thomas, Ontario, and passed away suddenly on Friday, September 22, 2006.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Betty Liddle; sons David Liddle (Tammy) and John Cavanagh (Marjan); daughters Roberta White (Robert), Tricia Stewart (Chad), and Jennifer Renner (Steve); 19 grandchildren; his mother Pat, sisters Barb and Chris; sisters-in-law Jeanette (Rino) and Carol; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father George.
Dave grew up in a military family and belonged to the Air Cadets in his youth.? He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union for many years working as a fabricator in the mining industry and in shipyards.
In his leisure time Dave was an avid golfer & was known for his love of camping and fondness for animals.
A Service celebrating Dave’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Comox on Wednesday, September 27 at 2:00 pm.? ?COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY, entrusted with arrangements.
