Davie has left us after a long battle with his heart condition. Davie started his career in the Government working in the Court House in Cumberland. In 1955 was transferred to Terrace, B.C. as Government Agent. While there Norma and Dave were married. in the years that followed he was transferred around the Province. Kamloops, Williams Lake, Vancouver until he was appointed Assistant Deputy Minister in Victoria where he retired in 1985.
Dave was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Bill, Ivor and Henry and one sister Madeline.
Dave will be sadly missed by his loving wife Norma of 50 years, sisters Elsie and Annie, many nieces, nephews, friends, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.
A Celebration of Davie’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 7th, 2007, at the Cumberland Royal Canadian Legion from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
