It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Elizabeth Mactaggart, at 80 years, on November 11, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Courtenay.

Diana is survived by her beloved husband, Douglas; daughter Joanna (Doug); and grandchildren: David and Erin; son Ian (Dawn); and step-grandchildren: Robyn and Brett. She was predeceased by parents, Oliver and Betty Moon; sister Audrey and brother-in-law Jim Erskine; and brother David.

Diana attended Crofton House School in Vancouver, British Columbia. Early in life she was active in tennis and golf, but her main passion was music. Diana studied with the Royal Schools of Music and she had the fortune to train under Madame Beatrice Miranda in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who overcame many health challenges with an every inspiring will and determination. She will be forever with us.

Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
