Tilly passed away peacefully on May 15, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her parents: Charles and Margaret Polkinghorne, her son Robert (Boo Boo), and by her brothers: Jimmy and Arnold. She will be lovingly remembered by Bob Moore; her sons: Darell (Kathy) Polkinghorne and Billy; daughters: Cathy (Kirk) Moore, Soe Moore and Patsy Spruyt; grandchildren: Rena, Nadine, Mike, Toni, Jon, Matthew, Shane, Paula and Katie; great-grandson Nathaniel. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital and extend a special thank you to Pat, Margaret and Julie for always being there. At Tilly’s request, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home.
