1951 - 2004
Born in Victoria May 17, 1951, Don passed away in Nanaimo Regional Hospital Thursday, August 5th, 2004. He is predeceased by his father Ronald Norman in 1989 and stepbrother Eddy in 1966. Don leaves behind his wife Julia; Mom Doreen; stepmother Ethel; sisters: Lynne (Ken), Teresa (Daryl), Sharon (Gary), Suzie (Ted), Sandy (Barry); brothers: Bill and Will (Lisa); beloved dog Barnaby; nieces and nephews; relatives in BC, and USA, and many friends.
A Celebration of Don’s life will be held at 2:00 pm this coming Saturday, August 14th at the home of Ted and Sue Moonen, 3090 Houlgrave Road in Courtenay.
There is a place
where we meet,
not in the park,
nor in the street
We can gather and
recall the past,
The memories we have
will always last,
You know the place,
it’s never dark;
The place we know
is in our hearts.
