SEDGWICK, Donald Wilkinson
Donald Wilkinson Sedgwick passed away on June 21, 2010 in Courtenay, British Columbia at the age of 87 years.
Born in the UK, Donald emigrated to Canada with his young family in 1952 and spent 30 years living and working with the Dept. of Agriculture in Ottawa before moving to the Comox Valley in the early 1980’s.
He is survived by Barbara, his wife of 61 years; his two sons: Clive (Sue) of Waterdown, Ontario and Neil (Laurie) of Calgary, Alberta and his cherished grandchildren, Robyn and Rhys.
Married to an avid birder, his favorite charities were the Nature Trust of British Columbia and the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to either of these organizations.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service.
