Adamson, Doris Francis

Mrs. Doris F. Adamson of Comox, BC passed away December 6th after a brief illness, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Doris was born in Vancouver, BC, and moved to the Comox Valley in 1951. She volunteered with the “Meals On Wheels” program, and the St. Joseph’s Hospital Extended Care Unit for many years.
Doris was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Norman, in 1985. She will be sadly missed by son John, his wife Jaki, their sons: Graham and Stuart; and by son Allen, his wife Janet, their sons: Scott, Kevin, and Craig; as well as by her many other relatives and friends.
A service will be held at Bay Community Church, 1105 Pritchard, Comox, Saturday, December 13th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’ name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM.
