SCHULTZ, Doris Helen
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, B.C. on June 29th, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents Leopold and Caroline Riemer and her brother Harold Riemer. Doris is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband Harold, her son Howard (Gayle) Schultz of Courtenay, her grandchildren Kristen, Caroline and Valerie, her great grandchildren Sebastian and Caleb as well as her sister Ruth Riemer of Edmonton and her niece Ellen and nephews Fred, Paul, Bernie and Kevin. Doris was the Supervisor of Information at V.G.H. and in her leisure time enjoyed baking cookies. Doris was a loving and lovable wife. She was generous with her time and with her resources. She always had a smile for everyone and was always willing to help, especially with children. Should friends so wish, donations made in Doris’ name to the Christian Blind Mission, P.O. Box 8oo, Stn. Main, Stouffville, Ont. L4A 9Z9 or the local Youth for Christ would be appreciated.
A service of remembrance will take place on Wednesday, July 7th at 2 p.m. from Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road with Pastor Paul Rabey, Officiating
