1921 - 2003
Passed away in Nanaimo, B.C., on June 29, after a lengthy illness. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Steve, daughter Marilyn and son-in-law, Dale Jarvis of Courtenay, son, Bob and daughter-in-law, Pauline Rafferty of Victoria. She was also a special Nana to 11 grandchildren: Bobbi-Lynn Plecas (John) and Jeff Plecas (Martha), Amy Wing, Justine (Tim) Dodd, Leslie, Larry, Steven (Deanne) and Geoffrey Ballantyne (Annette), Gaylene (Don) Black, Cristine (Paul) Tames and Laurie Annand. Her pride and joy were her 19 great grandchildren. She also leaves a large extended family to mourn her passing.
A Service was held in Nanaimo with family and close friends in attendance.
