January 18, 1920 – March 5, 2008
Passed away peacefully on March 5, 2008 at Glacier View Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Ronald Norwood, and sister Evelyn Thompson. Dorothy is survived by: her brother Gerald Thomson, her sister Janet Broughall, and by her 6 children: Donald (Donna), Julie McFadden, Robert (Denise), Rodney (Shirlie), Janice Tabobondung (Mike) and Ronald. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Dorothy was born in Didcot, England and emigrated to Canada with her family in 1952. She moved to Abbotsford, BC with her husband in 1988 and in 1998 she moved to Comox.
