SUPPLE, Doug
With great sorrow we announce the passing of Doug Supple of Courtenay, BC on December 2, 2010
Doug was well known both as a musician and for providing lighting and sound support for many other performers. Doug worked various venues and events throughout the Comox Valley and was an active participant in the music community. In addition to his musical talents, Doug was a loving and devoted husband and a cherished family member.
Doug is survived by his wife Mary Rowed; his mother Elaine (Bud) Caron; his father Joseph (Helen) Supple; his brothers and sisters; Jan, Joe, Stuart, Blair, Marty, Jolene, Jenny and their respective families.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 11, 2010 at 2 pm at the Comox Valley Funeral Cremation & Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, BC. In lieu of flowers or cards, donations to the Comox Valley Hospice Society would be appreciated.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the many friends who provided assistance and support throughout this difficult time. Sincere gratitude is also expressed to those in the medical community that assisted in Doug's care.
