Douglas slipped away quietly in his sleep at Sandringham Care Facility in Victoria. Predeceased by his parents, Doug is survived by his loving wife Lonnie, two sisters, three stepchildren, 6 children from a previous marriage, and several grand & great-grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service honouring Doug’s life Friday, August 19 at Comox Legion hall. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 1225, Comox, BC V9M 7Z8
