Douglas Edward Rees passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's General Hospital at the age of 83.
He was predeceased by his parents Warwick and Edith Rees and his wife, Margret Elizabeth Rees.
Douglas is survived by his loving wife Maureen, his son Jerry (Eva), his daughter Kim Scheltgen (Bruce), his son Terry (Tracey) and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren and step children.
He served his country from a young age in a military capacity until he retired to the Comox Valley.
He was loved by his family and his friends and will be greatly missed by all.
