Doug Maxwell passed away on April 11, 2010 at the home his father built in 1933.
Doug was born on November 18, 1955 in Cumberland, BC. He is survived by his wife Debbie Maxwell, son Kevin (Adina), daughter Lindsay, brother Gerald, sister Jesse Mazey (Bill) and sister-in-law Shirley Maxwell. He is predeceased by his father Alexander Maxwell, mother Mary Conn, brother Bob Maxwell, and sister-in-law Laurel Maxwell.
Doug took great pride in being a Master Mason of the Cumberland Masonic Lodge No.26, a member of Gizeh Shrine, a 32nd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite and a BC Hydro employee for 33 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 24th, 1:00 p.m. at the King George Hotel in Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Masonic Cancer Vans or Gizeh Shriners.
