Edith passed away in North Saanich, BC at the home of her daughter Pat on March 6, 2006. Edith was born December 2, 1916 in Edmonton to George P. and Mary F. (Lucas) Ferguson, the 7th of twelve children. She was raised near Ponoka, AB, married and had two daughters. In the early 50’s the family moved to Courtenay, BC where their third daughter was born. Edith was pre-deceased by her husband of 51 years, Gilmour, and is survived by her daughters Gail Elliott (Clint), Patricia Wright (Steven) and Mary, sisters Kathleen and Patricia, and sisters-in-law Ann and Betty. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Alastair, Stewart, Caitlin, Amy, Chad and Lyndsay and many nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the family plot in Ponoka following cremation.
