FERN, EDWARD (TELLY) ELWYN

Born May 19, 1928 in Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan died peacefully surrounded by his family on November 29, 2008 in Victoria, BC. Telly was predeceased by his wife of 32 years, Mary. He was a career soldier who served in the Korean War; in Germany and all over Canada, retiring in Comox, BC. He is survived by his children, Fred, Eric, Kelly (Tom), and Sonya (Bruce). He will be forever missed by his grandchildren, Marina, Gareth, Nicholas, Connor and Elena. Telly loved all sports. He played hockey, baseball and he curled. He enjoyed fishing, long road trips, playing cards and taking his grandkids on scooter rides. No service will be held according to Telly’s wishes. He will be cremated and his ashes scattered at sea.
