Burtt, Edwin Gerald Currie

(Jerry)

Sept 14, 1934 – Oct 24, 2003

Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Jerry passed away after a courageous battle with post surgery complications, with his good friend, Bob Nuttall, at his side.

Jerry is survived, and will be forever remembered by his wife Gail; daughters: Lauren, Carla (Steve), and Krista; granddaughters: Alicia (Joel) and Jasmine; grandsons: Kenny and C.J. He also leaves numerous friends, especially lifelong friends Chuck and Judy Webster.

Jerry enjoyed every fall hunting and fishing with his buddies around the lakes of Campbell River. He also enjoyed his younger years playing semi-pro baseball, passing his love for the sport down to all three daughters.

Jerry spent 20 years in the R.C.A.F. and had an extensive career in Real Estate in the Comox Valley.

By request, there will be no service, however, a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Courtenay Legion on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. All friends are welcome.

Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Jerry’s name to the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
