Elizabeth passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 20, 2007 at the age of 87 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Sonia (Richard) and Mary Anne; her sons: Ernie (Natasha), Robert (Sharon) and Fred all of Courtenay. Elizabeth is also survived by her son-in-law, Jack Krajnc and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her second husband, Angus Brownlee and her first husband, Ernest Adamschek; also by her daughter, Dora.
Elizabeth emigrated from Bukovina, Romania at the age of 19. She spent most of her life farming in Merville. She was a kind, hardworking person devoted to her family. A Celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on Friday, January 26, 2007 at Piercy’s – Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay at 1:00 p.m.
