January 2, 2005 at age 91,
born in Balgownie, Scotland, January 17, 1913. Her family moved to the Comox Valley in 1926. She was predeceased by her husband George Davies McCabe (1969); mother Susan Murray (1930); father John Henderson Murray (1950); brother Albert Andrew Murray. Survived by her son John (Marlene) McCabe; grandchildren: Cheri (Gary) Bainbridge, Texada Island, Wendy (Ron) Turnbull, Courtenay; great-grandchildren: Jessica Deven & Scotty Bainbridge, Nick & Kelsey Goodridge and Wyate Turnbull; sisters-in-law Alice Leaky, Mary Jones, Nan McConochie; and numerous nieces & nephews in the Comox Valley. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Cumberland Lodge for their help and support during this time.
