Elvy pased away on November 26, 2008 after a courageous battle with Alzheimers. She was predeceased by her son Raymond in 2003, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Elvy was born on October 4, 1927 in Keddleston, Sask. and passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Bob; sister Olive Hunter of Courtenay; brother Lyle; friend Bernice of Courtenay; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Blacklock and Dr. Reggler and to the home care personnel and home care nurses.
Following Elvy's wishes there will be no funeral service.
