Enid was born on April 11th, 1937 at Norquay, Sask. and passed away September 30, 2005. Enid was raised in Victoria before moving to the Comox Valley in the mid- 1950s. She brought up her family and worked for several local businesses leaving behind many friends and relatives including her loving husband Jim, sons: Martin (Tracy) Hebert, Cal (Patti) Hebert, James (Jeni) Rasor, sisters: Esme Vellacott, Gay (Dick) Toews, sister-in-law Norma Rasor, grandchildren: Camille, Cameron, Chamus, Kyle, Heather, Shayleen and Tara, mother-in-law Helen Rasor. Enid was predeceased by her mother Roberta Vellacott. The “Lady” Enid loved hiking, camping, canoeing, working in the garden and keeping an eye on the weather. Her family, friends and pets will miss her. The forests, the streams, the trails she loved to walk will suffer the absence of her golden presence.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Enid’s name to the BC Cancer Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s-Mt. Washington Funeral Home, Courtenay, BC.
