Moved to the Comox Valley in 1954, taken gracefully by our Lord at 3:10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a long life of happiness.

Predeceased by her mother Margaret Roffey; her father James Roffey; her brother Alex Roffey; her sisters Bell, Marjorie, Hazel and Eleanor; and Mario Del Casino (son-in-law). Survived by husband Jack Mort of Comox; sons James Hamilton, of Nelson, David & Sammy Hamilton (Mori, Ross & Guy), of Kelowna, Dan Hamilton (David & Carmen), of Vancouver, Des Brennan (Jessie & Kelsey), of Maple Ridge, and Duane Brennan, of Comox; daughter Georgina Cole, of Surrey, Margaret & Loren Perkins (Garrett & Brianne), of Victoria, and Ken and Joanne Del Casino (Tejay & Ashley), of Campbell River.

Ennis ~ wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend ~ whose love, devotion, compassion and kindness, remains fondly in our memories and hearts for evermore. Thank you for the privilege of loving and knowing you.

The family greatly appreciate the quality of care the doctors, nurses and staff who helped Ennis during her time of need, especially Amanda and Dr. Naaykens.

Funeral Services for Ennis will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in Piercy’s Funeral Home with Pastor Peter Rabey officiating, followed by burial in Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Piercy’s Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
