Pichler, Eric
Passed away peacefully on August 2, 2002 at St Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, at the age of 71 years.
Predeceased by his wife Lena Emma Pichler, October 30, 1987, and mother Agnes Winkler, November 11, 1997, Eric is survived by daughters Janice (Frank) Klein of Port Alberni; Darlene (Marcel) Rivard of Campbell River, Susan Wiebe of Coquitlam; Grandchildren Nicole, Heidi, Martin, Margot, Anita, Michelle, Katie and Ryan; Great granddaughter Karlee; brother Walter (Sandra) Winkler of Port Alberni; and sister Hermine Gasser of Austria.
A service of Remembrance was held at St George’s United Church, 505 6th Street, Courtenay, Thursday August 8, 2002 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric’s name can be made to the Eureka Club House, Box 3498, Courtenay, B.C. V9N 6Z8
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Barb Fehlau and the 3rd Floor nursing staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox.
