Eunice was born Wetaskiwin, Alberta, August 21, 1923; passed away, January 5, 2004 with her family at her side at Glacier View Lodge, Courtenay, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard, her six siblings, and three grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters: Marlene (Michael) Hoskin, Judith (Murray) McArthur, Terry Swigart (Ralph Barrat), and Deborah Swigart, her six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Eunice, a long time resident of North Vancouver, became a home support worker after raising her family. Her generous, loving, and outgoing nature won her friends of all ages. A zest for living and enjoying the simple pleasures with family and friends inspired us all. Thank you Eunice for your legacy of love!
Memorial Service to be held at North Lonsdale United Church, 3380 Lonsdale Ave., North Vancouver, B.C. on Friday, January 9th, at 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Eunice’s life to follow in church basement (Refreshments).
