Cousins - Eva, of Comox, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday, April 16th, 2002, at age 76. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary and brother Ted Tomich, Eva is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband of 53 years, Earl; son Larry (Lisa) Cousins and daughter Linda (Garry) Staneff, both of Santa Barbara, California; grandchildren: Taylor and Alanna; brother John Tomich of Vernon, B.C. and sister Helen Begovitch, also of California; as well as many nieces and nephews. Eva was President of the UCW, Comox United Church, sang with the Cleff Hangers and loved carpet bowling. Gardening was Eva’s passion, in addition to camping, swimming and traveling, especially with her brother-in-law, Gordon Cousins. She will be sadly missed by her entire family , her soulmate Earl , and her many friends. A Service of Remembrance will take place from Comox United Church on Saturday, April 20th, at 3:00 pm with The Reverend Maggie Enwright, officiating.
