Adama, Fay

Jan 8, 1938 - Aug 29, 2006

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of their beloved wife and mother, Fay (Coombe), age 68, of Courtenay, B.C. on Tuesday, August 29, 2006.

She will be deeply missed and her memory cherished forever by her husband and lifemate Rudy, and their two sons of Courtenay: Mike (Jacqueline, Michelle & Madeline), Wayne (Cheryl, Brandon, Nicole & David). Fay also leaves behind her sister Shirley (Ron) Elve of Regina and her brother Larry (Colleen) of Nanaimo and many nieces & nephews.

Predeceased by her father Reg (1992) her mother Elma (1998), daughter Shaun at birth, her son Stephen in infancy, and her nephew Randy Elve (1982). Fay was born January 8, 1938 in Regina, Sask. She enjoyed riding horses in competition and travelled the province. Fay moved to Nanaimo in 1953 when her Dad retired from the RCMP, where she met and married her life partner of 52 years, Rudy. Together they established a trucking business, travelled and enjoyed meetiing many people along the way. The family wish to extend a thank you to all who have expressed their love and sympathy; it helps in this time of great loss. A private service will be held at a later date.
