Born to Ernie and Carrie Welsh, August 13th 1916, in Vancouver. Died December 20, 2007 at Glacier View. Predeceased by husband’s George and Joe, infant son Gordon, son Jim and her three brothers. Survived by son Stephen (Wendy), daughters Marilyn Marsden (Tom) and Kathleen Bouchard (Oliver), daughter-in-law Dora, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sister June Eysford, sister-in-law Sylva Welsh, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She had worked at the front desk at Nelson’s Laundry and did their sewing at home. Later, she was a member of the Evergreen Choristers, she also taught Liquid Embroidery at the centre. She did a painting for each of her children. She liked to garden and do needlework.
