Devoted wife to Edward and loving mother to Pat, Bev and Bob. Older sister to Georgie, Dorothy, Marion and Carol (deceased) and adopted sister Lisa.
Grandmother to Rashelle, Jamie, Ryan, Dana, Jordan, Daniel, Jessie and Brandon.
Born in New Brunswick, Frances met Ed Armstrong in Halifax in 1946. They married and raised their family in Scarborough, Ontario, lived for 2 years in Barrie, 15 years in Kingston and retired to the beautiful Comox Valley in 1998.
Frances was a kind and gentle lady who enjoyed life’s simplest pleasures: entertaining family and friends with home cooked meals and fresh baked goods in a welcoming home. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching and relaxing in the sun with a good book. Her warm smile and loving spirit will live forever in our memories.
