Born in Kaiserslautern, Ger-many, September 23, 1937, was taken from us suddenly, February 2006, in Green-land. Frank moved to Canada and began his mining career at the age of 19. His career took him to Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Greenland. Through the years Frank was part of many clubs and teams such as soccer, bowling, swing dancing, crib and the Eagles. Frank enjoyed fishing, camping, travelling and cards. He had many collections from hats to model cars. Frank loved his Pepsi, chocolate and ice cream. He was easy going, generous, humorous and enjoyed making others happy. He was known in his neighbourhood for decorating his yard at Halloween and Christmas. Frank loved life.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, step-brother, and his wife Denice. He is survived by his children: Erika, Monica, Kevin, Angela, and spouses, his step-children: Jeff, Terry, Geri, Carol, Gerald, Bobby, Mechel, and spouses. He leaves behind two grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, his two brothers, and families. Frank also leaves behind numerous friends and co-workers. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 1:00pm at ELK FALLS CHAPEL, ELK FALLS MEMORIAL CEMETERY, Hwy. 28 at General Hill, Campbell River. ISLAND FUNERAL SERVICES/ELK FALLS CREMATORIUM entrusted with arrangements. Donations in Frank’s memory to Timothy’s Telethon would be appreciated.
