Taylor, Frederick William
Passed away suddenly on June 6, 2004 in his 81st year. Fred’s daughter Kathy passed away less than 24 hours later.
Dearly loved by Audrey, his wife of 58 years; and daughters: Linda (Tim), Donna, Kathy and Susan. Sadly missed by his grandchildren: Tammy (Donald), Brent (Lisa), Leanne (Steve), Cindy (Lee), Kevin, Gary, Lisa and Tina; great grandchildren: Brianna, Taylor, Cassidy, Carlee, Drayden and Keaton; sister June Guille; nieces: Valerie and Joann; and nephews: Michael and Paul.
Fred served with the Seaforth Highlanders and took part in the invasion of Sicily, Italy, Belgium, Holland, France and Germany. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a native son of Ladysmith. He worked in the logging industry for 46 years. By Fred’s request, there will be no service. A family gathering will be held at his home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of the BC Lung Association in Fred’s name would be appreciated.
