Glenise Ann Brantnall

It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Glenise Ann (Rensby, Marlin) Brantnall announce her passing on August 7th, 2006 00:30

Glenise stoically and selflessly battled a terminal illness this past six weeks..

She was predeceased by her second husband George Brantnall , her first husband Allan Marlin and her brother Bill Rensby. She is survived by her children Mark (Joanne) Hisop, James Marlin, Brad (Jill) Marlin, Debby Marlin, and David (Nadia) Marlin. Her grandchildren Jennifer, Jordan and Elijah.

Her brothers Don, Robin and Kerry.

Her sisters Jean, Alice, Donna and Debbie and all of the nieces and nephews.

And all the oth­ers that Mom so quietly loved.

Glenise was born in Davidson, Saskatchewan on April 7th,1938 to Edward and Agnus Rensby. Glenise was editor of her school year book and valedictorian of her graduating class. After graduation she joined the air force. Shortly thereafter she met and married Allan Marlin. In 1964 she moved to Fort St. John, where she raised her children, sold real estate, was the chairman of the recreation commission, and worked for the local news­paper.

In 1981 Glenise moved to Black Creek where she met and married George Brantnall. Until her passing she operated a small successful homebased accounting business in Black Creek.

Glenise was an icon and inspiration to her friends and family.

She taught us (her children) that there were no limitations to what we were able to achieve. Thank you Mom. You will be sadly missed and forever loved.
