Passed away peacefully at his home on Denman Island on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 in his 88th year.
Gordon is survived by his wife Mary Anne and by his sons: Robert (Kaye) of Edmonton; Douglas (Jo Ann) of Courtenay and Marvin (Julie) of Australia and by his grandchildren Ryan, Tiara, Adrien, Nick, Sean, Simon, Jocelyn, Nathan and Roxalana. Also survived by his brother Arthur (Jan) of Oregon and his sister Betty (Truman) of Comox.
Gordon worked with and loved the “old steam donkeys” and early logging days of the North Coastal Inlets. He retired to farming and raising cattle on Denman Island in 1963.
A Gathering in Celebration of Gordon’s life will be held: 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, Nov-ember 16th at 2961 North West Road, Denman Island.
