Grace Urquhart (nee: Lauder)
1936 - 2003
Passed away suddenly in St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, June 8, 2003. She was predeceased by her sister Margaret. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill, son Les (Margaret), sister Helen, nieces Kay and Julie and by several cousins.
Grace was born in Paisley, Scotland and married her husband Bill, also from Paisley, in 1956. They immigrated to Canada with their 6-year-old son Les in 1964. Living in Vancouver, Montreal and Mississauga, relocating from Vancouver to the Comox Valley 6 years ago.
Grace was an active member of the Comox United Church and the Comox Valley Celtic Club.
A private family interment will be held. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Comox United Church, 250 Beach Dr., in Comox on Monday, June 16, 2003 at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Maggie Enwright officiating.
