Harold Edgar Flannery

March 31, 1930 - September 19, 2017

Harold passed away on September 19, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Comox.

He was predeceased by his one and only love Joan (nee Watson) Flannery and is survived by his sons Robb (Brenda) of Courtenay, BC; granddaughters Sheena Tobacca & Melinda Carter; great granddaughter Alena Tobacca and great grandson Jaxon Tobacca; sister-in-law Judith Battley; nieces and nephews Lisa Battley-Topacio & Micheal Battley, Brenda Spooner and Rich Campbell.

Harold was a journeyman pressman all his life and retired from the Winnipeg Free Press.

He loved the radio control model airplane hobby and spent many years crafting and building his favorite airplanes.

He was also an accomplished stain glass crafter and enjoyed sharing his art with anyone that came into his life.

He was a quiet man that loved classical music, his dogs, his models and stain glass.  He loved life in the care of his loving son Robb.

Special thank you to Drs. Woldnik and Dan and the nursing staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion.

Flowers gratefully declined.

Donations of bags of dog food made to the Comox SPCA would be appreciated.
