Chapman, Haydn “Denny”
1919 ~ 2006
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox on November 19, 2006. He was predeceased by his sister May of North Vancouver.
Denny will be lovingly remembered by his wife Isobel, whom he celebrated his 60th Wedding Anniversary with in October, his brother-in-law Norman (Kay) Edwards, his niece and nephews.
He served during WWII in the Royal Canadian Signal Corp. serving in Canada, Great Britain and Europe.
His family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Tien, Dr. Blacklock, and to all the third floor nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined; donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Following Denny’s wishes there will be no service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s – Mt. Washington Funeral Home.
