With her daughters at her side, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hazel Wesch on May 23, 2006.
Survived by her husband Fred of 60 years; sisters: Winnie (Black), Lillian (Bell); stepson Ron; daughters: Judy (Murdoch), Janice (Marshall) and Michael; nephews: Ken, Ron, Russell, Gordon; and her wonderful grandsons: Steven, Ian, Douglas, Geoffrey, Adam and Jordan.
Hazel was born in Prince Rupert February 1, 1920. She married Fred October 30, 1946. They spent 2 years in Ocean Falls then moved to Vancouver. In 1967 the family moved to Comox. Although her stay at St. Joseph’s was brief we would like to thank the nurses on the 2nd and 3rd floors for caring so much for Hazel and her family.
Hazel’s spirit of caring and giving to all her family will be deeply missed.
Service will be held at St. Peter’s, 218 Church Street, Comox on June 2nd at 1:00pm. Reception to follow.
