Passed away on December 16, 2010 at Comox, BC. Born in Agazziz, BC on May 18, 1933.
Heather was a kind gentle person who loved the outdoors, loved animals, and loved people. She was a hardworking strong-willed individual. She was a humble person who had no time for fancy embellishments. She valued people for their inner integrity.
She was predeceased by her father Harry Hooper, her mother May Hooper, her sister Paddy Dooyeweerd and her son John Burns.
She is survived by her husband Kevin Burns, grandchildren Kevin, Jesse, Cody and her brother Brian Hooper, brother in law Paddy, sisters in law Rosemary, Teresa, Margaret and brother in law Terry.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM At Piercy’s Funeral Home in Courtenay. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
