Walker, Helen Janice (Lonnie)
Lonnie passed away on October 15, 2005. Born in
Hughenden, Alberta Decem-ber 30, 1931 to John and Nola Lonsdale.
Lonnie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Eric (Dixie) and two sons, Gerald (Debbie) Calgary, Dana (Colleen) Barrie, ON; six grandchildren: Amber, Jordan, Chelsy, Nolan, Jessica and Adam.
Lonnie joined the RCAF in 1951 and served until 1958, she retired with the rank of sergeant. She was an active member of 888 (Komox) RCAF Wing.
A Celebration of Lonnie’s life will be held at 888 Wing, Wednesday, 19 Oct at 1400 - 1600 hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, 2410 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC V8R 6V5 with appreciation.
