Helen Mary Lewis
completed her life journey peacefully on June 25, after a courageous battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s. Helen was a resident of Glacier View Lodge since 1999. She was born in Westville, N.S. on July 5, 1918 and was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1998.
She is survived by her loving children; Harry Jr. (Lana) Lewis of Old Lyme, Connecticut; Cheryl Robinson of Calgary; Tom Lewis of Ottawa; and Patty Lewis of Calgary; grandchildren; Tammy, Robert, Joanna, Erin, Jordan, Patricia and Lindsay; great grandchildren; Amanda, Gary Jr., Molly, Cora, Connor, and Olivia.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to Glacier View Lodge in Helen’s memory.
A celebration of Helen’s life was held on June 30, 2003 at St. George’s United Church.
