Henry went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2008 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Emily and his brother, Maynard. Henry is lovingly survived by his sisters-in-law: Eileen, Betty, Mary and Marilyn and one brother-in-law, George; many nieces and nephews and his church family. A Graveside service will be held at the Courtenay Civic Cemetery on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 1:00 pm with a Memorial service to follow at the Courtenay Fellowship Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Pastor Peter Rabey officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Henry’s name to the Gideons.
