1917~2003
Born December 12, 1917 Irene passed away peacefully on August 30, 2003 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her parent, siblings and infant son Gordon, she is survived by her son Cec (Cathy) Specht, Courtenay, and daughters Beatrice (Bruce) Paterson, and Mary (Mike) MacLachlan of Quesnel, B.C. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive her. There will be no service by her request. The family wishes to thank everyone who helped Mom in her later years, especially the staff at Thrifty’s and the volunteers in their Sendial program.
