Iris Hodge
1924 ~ 2008
Iris Eloise Hodge (Buchanan), beloved wife of Victor Hodge and mother of Paul and Pam passed away on the 12 January 2008 at 4:45 a.m. in her 84th year.
By her side were daughter Pamela and husband Vic. An informal service was graciously given after son Paul and wife Lita arrived from Victoria, B.C. at noon. Reverend Jacki Barbour spoke lovingly of Iris, read a poem that Iris had penned, said prayers and asked blessings while family held hands at Iris's bedside. Iris was very well taken care of by the care staff at The Village of Smith Creek (formerly Westside Care Centre) in Westbank.
Peacefully leaving us to meet her Lord in Heaven, Iris will be sadly missed after 63 years of marriage by her husband and family. Yours always, Lovingly Vic.
