1925 — 2005
Jake’s final battle came to an end after a lengthy illness on April 10, 2005. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Della, children Connie(Gil) Robson of Chase, Randy (Karyn) of Merced, CA., Darryl (Debbie) of Quesnel, Colleen (Don) Sumners of Surrey, Katreena (Chris) Ashe of Fanny Bay and Dianne (Jim) Bell of Kamloops, as well as 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers and 2 sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Jake spent many years as a long haul driver and he was extremely proud of his spotless driving record. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of your choice.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Jake at a later date in Chase, BC. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital E.C.U. and 3rd Floor; to Dr. Konway for his compassionate care; to Tanya for her help and compassion; and many thanks to the caregivers support group for their support. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s / Mt. Washington Funeral Home and Crematorium
