Jacqueline (Jackie) Yvonne Girard

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.
Predeceased by her parents, Jackie is survived by daughters; Carol (Steve), Cathy, Kelly (Darrin) all of Regina, SK; son Michael (Sharon) Courtenay, BC; sister Sandy (George) Regina, SK; brother Alan (Sandy) Richmond, BC; grandchildren; Gary (April), Adam, Eric, Anthony (Myranda), Jordan, Brandon; great-grandchildren; Jessica, Brayden and Aeden all of Regina, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Dr. Chow, Dr. Woods, the staff at Oceanview ECU, Art and Janice Parry, Alice Burke and Tara (the cat) for all the love and care Jackie received. It was appreciated much more than we can say.
A Celebration of Her Life was held on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Valley United Pentecostal Church with Pastor A. Parry officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jackie’s memory may be made to the Oceanview ECU, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox or the Valley United Pentecostal Church in Courtenay.
Jackie will be greatly missed by all the family and friends she leaves behind.
