James Douglas (Jim) McClaugherty
passed away in St Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday 20 February 2007 at the age of 75 years.Â
A good friend & neighbour, and loving husband, James is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carolyn Anne McClaugherty.
Born in Virginia, USA and having lived a full and colorful life, Jim was well respected and made many friends here in the Comox Valley.
Among many other things, Jim taught at N. I. College, teaching computers to seniors, and always seemed willing to donate time to helping others in many areas of life.
No services will be held at this time, but Cards or Flowers in condolence and celebration of a good friend’s passing can be directed to Piercy’s Funeral Home.
