CROSS - Jane Marion Cross (nee: Rowlands), of Comox, BC passed away on April 2, 2009 at St. Joseph's General Hospital. Born in Kingston, Ontario on February 29, 1948.
Jane lived the first half of her life in Kingston, ON; but as a military wife, 4 bases across Canada would be home, with Comox as her final stop. She had just recently retired and was looking forward to the next stage of her life. Jane was an avid reader and bingo player. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents Roger and Bertha Rowlands and her sister Helena Rowlands.
Survived by her husband George of 32 years; daughter Michelle (Tim) Sinclair and 2 granddaughters Amanda and Laura; brother Roger (Geraldine) Rowlands of Amherstview, ON; sister Gwen (Melvin) Asselstine of Yarker, ON; and various nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 17th from 2-4 pm at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #160, 1825 Comox Ave., Comox, BC.
