HOLT, JEAN (MENDRIA)

Passed away at Glacier View Lodge on Sunday, March 6, 2005. She was predeceased by her parents Leslie & Arlene Wallace, her first husband Mike Mendria, second husband Martin Holt and daughter-in-law Pat Mendria. Jean is survived by her sons Robert Mendria (Linda Gibson) of Comox, James Mendria of Comox and Gerry Mendria (Francine Migue) of Comox, her grandchildren Trina and Michael and great grandson Emery, her brother Kenneth Wallace of Port Alberni, her sisters Audrey Erickson (Einar) of Port Alberni and Vivian Evans of Nanaimo, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends in the Valley. Jean was a long time member of the Pythian Sisters and Jean enjoyed travelling and knitting. A special thank you to Glacier View Lodge for their excellent care and kindness. A Funeral Service took place on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD with the Reverend Ray Brandon officiating. Burial followed in Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Donations in Jean’s memory may be made to Glacier View Lodge, 2450 Back Road, Courtenay, B.C. V9N 9G8 with appreciation
