Parnell, Jean
Jean Parnell of Lillooet passed away February 9, 2003 at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by her parents John and Blanche Steed of Parksville and her sister Olga Ryland. Survived by her children Geoffrey (Doris), Gordon (Monica) and Lisa Parnell, grandsons Gary and Aaron, sister Nance Arthurs, and many nieces and nephews.
Jean served in the RAF during WWII and moved to Canada after the war. She spent many years as postmistress on Hornby Island and moved to Lillooet in 1996 to be close to her son and daughter.
