February 10, 1964 - December 12, 2007
After a long and courageous battle with cancer, it is with immense sadness we announce the passing of Jen (Jennifer) Lynn Gjesdal. Mother to the loves of her life Chimene and Brandon, partner to Curtis Watts, daughter to Gerald Gjesdal (Comox), predeceased by Bernadette Ingram, sister to Tim Burke, Renee and Jonathan Stevens, aunt to Tyler, Adria and Katrina, special Mom to Amber, Jeff, Justin, Val and Amber.
Jen proudly served her country with 22 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces. She spent time in Edmonton and Esquimalt. This included service on board HMCS Calgary, HMCS Vancouver and a tour in the Gulf.
A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday, December 22nd, 2007 at RC Legion, Station Road, Langford, BC, beginning at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victoria Hospice Society would be appreciated.
